Sometimes you meet someone and you know they are made of strong stuff.  Well you meet a lot of these people when you turn up at ultra-marathons, but there is still something that sets Stefan apart.  When you look in his eye’s you know that if he needs to he can go ‘somewhere else’ and dig out the reserves required to make it through.  Stefan is funny, affable, mischievous and playful.  He also displays incredible resolve. This is a guy who will soon run his hundredth marathon, a man for whom running created new opportunities in life.  More than most, running is part of who Stefan now is.  Sparkle pants aside, this guy is serious.
